Roman Reigns isn’t taking it easy as WrestleMania season approaches. The Tribal Chief gave fans a rare look into the intense preparation behind his current physique while speaking with Adam Glyn, and it’s clear the workload leading into WWE’s biggest event of the year is anything but comfortable.
During the conversation, Glyn pointed out how sharp Reigns looked physically and asked about his current workout routine. Reigns didn’t try to dress it up — instead, he made it clear that his daily training schedule is relentless and designed to push him to the limit.
“It sucks right now. It's never ending. I'm on currently 3-a-days, so I do a 45 minute cardio, like a 2 hour workout in the middle of the day and then another 45 minute cardio at night.”
Reigns’ comments paint a clear picture of the kind of physical conditioning required to stay at the top of WWE, especially with WrestleMania looming. Even after years in the spotlight and multiple championship runs, he’s still grinding through multiple sessions every day just to stay ready for the spotlight.
After breaking down his demanding workout routine, Glyn shifted the focus to Reigns’ nutrition and how he maintains his physique during such a heavy training cycle. Reigns explained that his diet isn’t something he improvises — every meal is carefully structured with help from professionals to match the intensity of his workouts.
“It's just, it's all meal prepped, it's all planned by my dietitian and like prep coach but it's pretty much, you know, your macros — high protein, a little bit of carbs to get me by to keep the workouts good and just enough fats to keep me stable. But yeah, it's not fun.”
The level of discipline behind Reigns’ preparation shows just how seriously he treats WrestleMania season. Between strict nutrition and multiple daily workouts, it’s clear that maintaining his presence at the top of WWE requires more than just talent — it takes constant effort behind the scenes.
With WrestleMania drawing closer, Reigns’ remarks offer a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into the physical toll that comes with staying at the top of WWE’s biggest stage. Fans often see the finished product on television, but the reality behind the curtain involves long hours, strict routines, and very little room for shortcuts.
