Roman Reigns is not impressed with how Brock Lesnar announced his entry into the 2026 Royal Rumble—and he made sure to roast the Beast Incarnate in a big way.

While speaking on The Pat McAfee Show on January 30, 2026, the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion mocked Lesnar’s laidback FaceTime moment, where the Beast casually declared his Rumble return without even showing up. Reigns zeroed in on how surreal it was to even see Lesnar using a phone:

“I’m still caught up on the fact that Brock Lesnar knew how to work FaceTime. I thought he’d be like—[imitates an ape pushing on a phone]—you know what I mean? That’s what’s tripping me out.”

Then the OTC took it a step further with a deadpan shot at Brock Lesnar’s famously private, off-the-grid lifestyle, claiming there’s an over-the-top process in order to contract Brock Lesnar.

“I didn’t even know he had a phone. I thought he was old school, like you had to call the farm, then the farmhand would come get him, then he’d go to the lead farm guy—you know what I mean? So I’m surprised he even knows how to work a phone.”

The comment comes days after Seth Rollins also took a playful jab at Lesnar, telling ESPN’s Get Up that Brock “didn’t want to show up for work,” and just “calls in to McAfee and says, ‘I’m in.’”

Whether Lesnar’s method was lazy or legendary, the result is the same—he’s flying to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the Royal Rumble, and he’s instantly one of the most dangerous names in the match.

Do you think Roman Reigns went too far, or was it all in fun? And is Brock Lesnar still the biggest threat in the Rumble? Let us know in the comments.
