The Final Boss is back. Just one day before WWE SmackDown takes over New Orleans,
The Rock took to Twitter on February 20, 2025, to confirm his return to the blue brand. Dropping a cryptic yet powerful message, The Great One made it clear that he’s bringing chaos with him.
“Bold and disruptive. Unpredictable and dangerous. The Final Boss returns, LIVE on #SmackDown tomorrow at 8ET/7CT on @USANetwork,” The Rock tweeted. Alongside the message, he shared a striking image with the words “The Final Boss Returns Tomorrow.”
With WrestleMania 41 inching closer, The Rock’s return could have massive implications. Will he be there to address the Bloodline? Does he have Cody Rhodes in his sights? Or is he bringing something completely unexpected?
SmackDown was already shaping up to be a stacked show, with Naomi vs. Liv Morgan and a huge six-man tag team match featuring Cody Rhodes, Braun Strowman, and Damian Priest taking on Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu, and Solo Sikoa. But with The Rock now confirmed, things just got even more unpredictable.
