Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has wrestled in just about every major city across the globe, but there’s one place that always delivers the loudest, rowdiest energy—and it’s not Madison Square Garden.

During his appearance on New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, The Rock was asked to name his favorite wrestling cities. He gave props to a few major markets but didn’t hesitate when naming Philadelphia as his personal top pick. Before listing Philly, he acknowledged legendary wrestling towns like Chicago and New York. But when he got to the City of Brotherly Love, everything shifted.

“Chicago. New York — nothing like The Garden. Down in Texas was amazing. But Philly… what I loved about Philly — that’s a heel town, dude. There’s a lot of support there.”

He then confirmed that passion is exactly why he chose Philly as his return site for WrestleMania prep.

“That’s why I came back last year, man. That WrestleMania — there was nothing like it.”

For a guy who’s headlined countless WrestleManias and performed in front of packed stadiums across continents, that’s no small statement. Philadelphia has always been a tough crowd, but for The Rock, it’s home turf when the lights go up.

The love between The Rock and Philly clearly runs deep—and it’s got us wondering what kind of electrifying moment he might have planned there next.
