The WWE Bad Blood 2024 Premium Live Event set out to catch fans off guard, and they definitely accomplished that when The Rock made an unexpected appearance at the end of the show, stunning the crowd. After this exciting moment, The Rock has shared unseen footage of himself just moments before his comeback.
After the main event of WWE Bad Blood 2024, where Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag team match, the audience was left stunned by The Rock’s unexpected return. He silently exchanged intense looks with both Rhodes and Reigns, leaving fans wondering what his intentions might be.
Shortly after his surprise appearance, The Rock posted a video on Instagram, dropping a solid promo about the current state of WWE. In this video, he hinted at significant changes coming soon and took shots at both Cody Rhodes and John Cena, adding to the excitement surrounding his return.
The Great One is clearly not done when it comes to his return, as he took to Twitter and uploaded unseen footage of himself backstage at Bad Blood, minutes before his shocking comeback. The Rock was seen walking backstage and readying himself for the incredible moment at Bad Blood.
”The Final Boss. The Final Backstage Walk. Minutes before surprising the sold out Atlanta crowd – I start feeling the energy and mana as soon as I start to walk to my holding position. Sounds crazy but it’s hard to contain, and this shit starts getting emotional 🤣☄️💫 Connection is real. Love U back. Grateful man. ~ The Final Boss of @WWE”
While The Rock’s appearance created speculation about a potential match at WrestleMania 41, Dave Meltzer clarified that there are currently no plans for him to face Roman Reigns or Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania. Meltzer noted that although things could change in the future, The Rock has already stated that his busy schedule prevents him from committing to a match right now. He suggested that The Rock’s involvement was more of a special moment rather than the beginning of a new storyline. Nonetheless, we’ll have to see when The Great One will return to WWE television again, as there is still a lot of time before the Road to WrestleMania begins next year.
