The Rock has officially commented on the growing rumors about his potential involvement in WrestleMania 43—and while he didn’t confirm anything, he made it clear things are moving in a positive direction.

Speaking to Raffi Talks on January 20, 2026, The Rock responded to reports that Saudi Arabia is pushing hard to bring both him and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin to WrestleMania 43 in 2027.

“Well—I can tell you that I’m excited for the brand of WrestleMania. I’m excited for the Kingdom because that is a big show. And I’m also excited—not only for the brand—but for our athletes to be able to participate in an event like that. That’s a global event, and I can’t wait.”

The Final Boss didn’t confirm if he’ll be stepping into the ring, but when asked about the status of his ongoing conversations with WWE and Saudi officials, he kept it optimistic:

“In terms of the conversations I’ve been having, good or bad?—well, it’s all good. It will always be good.”

This follows Andrew Baydala’s recent report that Rock’s camp has been hesitant to commit, especially given that the Saudi match would likely be his final in-ring appearance, which might conflict with his long-term goals in Hollywood.

“If the movie career really takes off, rightfully he’s booked all the way through 2026,” he explained. “If that happens, and he has a great match in Saudi and he’s unavailable to do anything else, the guy is getting up there in age. I know there’s hesitation from The Rock’s camp. This is exactly what was told to me.”

While nothing is locked in yet, The Rock’s tone suggests negotiations are going smoothly — and fans waiting for that one last electrifying moment may still get it on the Grandest Stage of Them All in 2027.
