Robert Stone has been a very integral part of NXT and TNA’s current partnership thanks to his storyline with Santino Marella. Fans have wondered what really led to him getting involved in the first place and Stone has now revealed the incident that led to him trying to take over TNA.

Robert Stone took to Twitter and commented on a video from February, where he took his kids to Full Sail Studios during a TNA show. A security guard wasn’t letting him in despite the fact that Stone was a major part of TNA at one time, where he was known as Robbie E.

After constantly getting refused by the guard, Robert Stone reverted back to his Robbie E gimmick but he still wasn’t allowed to enter. After asking the guard why he wasn’t letting him in, he revealed that Rob Terry had removed him from his VIP status.

Robert Stone made it clear that this incident is what ultimately led to him wanting to take over TNA Wrestling, as he said, “THIS @ThisIsTNA INCIDENT A FEW MONTHS AGO IS WHAT SET ME OFF TO TAKEOVER TNA.”

Earlier this month, Robert Stone was given the power to monitor the decisions Santino Marella makes as Director of Authority and at TNA Under Siege, Stone dubbed himself “Sheriff Stone” for good measure. Regardless, Robert Stone is clearly a standout and will continue to entertain fans for a long time so we’ll have to see how he will remain booked in the coming weeks.
