AEW Revolution 2026 kicked off with plenty of chaos before the main card even began, and one of the most shocking moments from the Zero Hour pre-show involved an unexpected assault on The Rizzler during a wild ringside brawl.

The March 15 event is airing live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, with a stacked card headlined by AEW World Champion MJF defending his title against “Hangman” Adam Page in a Last Chance Texas Deathmatch. But before the pay-per-view action officially got underway, things got heated during the opening tag team match of the pre-show.

Boom & Doom (“Big Boom!” A.J. and QT Marshall) squared off against Shane Taylor Promotions’ The Infantry (Capt. Shawn Dean and Carlie Bravo). As the match spilled outside the ring, the situation quickly escalated when multiple personalities became involved around ringside.

During the chaos, tensions rose when Shane Taylor confronted entertainer Wayne Brady at ringside and aggressively grabbed him by the shirt while pulling him into the ringside area.As the confrontation escalated, The Rizzler stepped in and got directly in Taylor’s face in an attempt to defend Brady and de-escalate the situation.

However, the moment turned violent almost immediately when Taylor shoved him to the ground in full view of the crowd. The attack stunned fans at ringside as the confrontation continued to spiral out of control while the match carried on nearby.

The situation didn’t last long, though, as Justice quickly intervened and speared Taylor on the outside to halt the confrontation and allow the focus to shift back to the match.

From there, the action returned to the ring where Boom & Doom regained control. After a chaotic sequence, Big Boom! A.J. delivered a decisive Doomsday Device to Carlie Bravo to secure the victory. Boom & Doom ultimately walked away with the win to kick off the AEW Revolution Zero Hour pre-show.

With the show just getting started and tensions already boiling over outside the ring, the explosive moment involving The Rizzler set the tone for what promised to be a wild night of action at AEW Revolution.
