Ring Announcer Replacement Change Confirmed for Tonight’s WWE RAW

The February 17th edition of Monday Night Raw will be taking place at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Fans are obviously excited about the show, but it appears the episode will see a change in the announcer, as Alicia Taylor will not be present for the show.

Lilian Garcia took to her Instagram and uploaded a video of herself at the airport, revealing that she will be replacing Alicia Taylor as the announcer for tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw, as she said, “I’m at the airport for a reason. I’m actually heading to Monday Night RAW. I’m going to be subbing in for Alicia tonight.”

This comes after Lilian Garcia was moved over to Friday Night SmackDown at the beginning of this year, where she has been excelling in her role as the announcer for the blue brand.

Alicia Taylor is not the only name who will be absent from Monday Night Raw this week as Rhea Ripley will be missing the show as well, since she is currently in Australia celebrating her honeymoon with Buddy Matthews.

Garcia made her long-awaited WWE return on October 21, as she replaced Samantha Irvin and she clearly did a great job for the rest of 2024. Therefore, fans can be rest assured that she will perform to the best of her ability tonight as well.
