Another NXT name has been cut—this time it’s Riley Osborne. T

he former gymnast-turned-pro wrestler has been released from WWE as part of the company’s latest wave of internal talent cuts. Osborne’s departure was confirmed by Fightful Select, adding to the growing list of names quietly dropped following WrestleMania 41.

Osborne signed with WWE in 2022 and made his in-ring debut on NXT Level Up in early 2023. He later became a featured competitor on the main NXT brand, known for his clean-cut look, flashy offense, and standout athleticism. His background in gymnastics gave him a unique edge, and his early performances were praised for their crisp execution and fluid style.

He found his first major storyline momentum in late 2023 as part of Chase University, where he aligned with Andre Chase, Duke Hudson, and Thea Hail. The faction helped elevate his visibility on the brand and gave him consistent TV time. Osborne competed in the 2023 Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline, showcasing his potential in a high-profile match.

Despite his youth and promise, Osborne had seen less screen time in recent weeks—something that now appears to have foreshadowed this move.
