Riho might be closer to an AEW comeback than fans thought—but nothing is official just yet.

The first-ever AEW Women’s World Champion has been missing from the promotion since July 2024, when she defeated Lady Frost in her AEW Collision debut. That match ended up being her only appearance of the year, as she suffered an injury and hasn’t been seen in the ring since.

Before that, Riho had already been largely absent from AEW programming, only wrestling eight times since mid-2023. But in a new update, sources are reporting that she attended AEW Worlds End 2024 in December—and she wasn’t just there to watch.

According to Fightful Select, Riho was in the ring training before the pay-per-view, sparking speculation that she might be gearing up for a return. Despite that sighting, there’s still no official word on when—or if—she’ll be back in AEW competition anytime soon.

With AEW’s women’s division continuing to evolve, Riho’s return could shake things up in a major way—but for now, fans will have to wait and see.
