Ridge Holland has faced plenty of criticism and hate, with many believing he doesn’t deserve the spotlight he gets on NXT. However, he recently shut down a troll who wanted him fired, responding with a brutal roast that showed he wouldn’t take criticism lightly.
A troll on Twitter expressed their strong hatred for Ridge Holland, saying that WWE should have released him after his injury to Big E and suggested that he should be removed from the company and sports entertainment altogether.
“Genuinely f*** Ridge Holland. They should’ve released him when he injured Big E and that should’ve been it. Get that walking workplace accident out of WWE and out of sports entertainment.”
Ridge Holland took to Twitter and responded to the troll, as he pointed out that the troll was clearly thinking about him, saying he was “living rent-free” in their head, and that he was a virgin, as Holland said, “That’s not a very nice comment, is it? You’re thinking about me though—I’m in your head, though, living rent-free, though. Oh, and one more thing… you’re a virgin. Sit out, lad.”
Despite the ongoing criticism, Ridge Holland is still an important part of WWE’s NXT brand. His strength and talent have earned him a spot on TV, even though some fans question why he’s getting attention.
As Holland faces both challenges in the ring and online criticism, it’s clear he’s not letting the hate affect his confidence or drive. Regardless, Holland clearly knows how to deal with haters and that’s not going to change.
