The AEW Dynamite Beach Break event was a very special episode of AEW Dynamite on May 14, 2025. The show went down at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, and fans had quite a show to look forward to.

Ricochet was on hand this week, and he has a very interesting opponent. The former WWE Superstar took aim at Zach Gowen last week, and that led to Beach Break.

The One And Only took on Zach Gowen during this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Fans were ready to see Ricochet get some kind of punishment, but he didn’t seem too worried about things as he made his way to the ring with a prosthetic leg on tow.

Zach Gowen made his way to the ring on crutches, but he threw them down once he got in the ring. Ricochet raised his prosthetic leg over his head in celebration before the match even started.

The match ended up spilling to ringside as Ricochet punished Gowen on the entrance ramp. Then the two wrestled through a commercial break, and Gowen was able to take control just as they came back.

Zach Gowen’s family was seated at ringside, and they saw him kick out after two close near falls. Ricochet also tried to get a figure 4 leglock, which he tried only to mock him.

Ricochet was visibly frustrated near the end, and he pulled out the golden scissors from ringside. The referee took the scissors, and then Gowen took Ricochet down with the fake leg, but it only got a two count.

The match continued with Zach Gowen going up top, but he missed his moonsault. Ricochet got up after that and nailed his Spirit Gun for the win. After the match was over, Ricochet hit another Spirit Gun. Thankfully, Mark Briscoe ran to the ring for the save as Ricochet left in victory.
