The Tony Khan burner account drama took a wild twist on January 28, 2026, when AEW star Ricochet jumped into the conversation—by trolling the entire situation.
Amid online speculation from Nick LoPiccolo, who claimed a suspicious Twitter account under the name “Ron” was secretly being run by AEW President Tony Khan, Ricochet decided to have a little fun as he claimed he’s Tony Khan’s burner account.
“Guys, I’m actually @TonyKhan burner account. 👑 #LetsF******Go” Ricochet tweeted, clearly mocking the controversy and brushing off the seriousness of the allegations.
The tweet comes less than 24 hours after LoPiccolo logged back onto Twitter on January 27 after a brief suspension—and came out swinging. He accused an account named “Ron” (@Ron11479281) of being a burner operated by Tony Khan himself. According to LoPiccolo, the account had inside AEW knowledge, posted anti-trans and anti-Jade Cargill content, and “immediately locked down” after LoPiccolo tagged NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
“"This pro-Tony Khan account, that posts things that only Tony Khan would know, followed BJ Bethel and other Tony co-conspirators, followed TK bot armies, is Muslim, anti-trans, anti-Jade Cargill, anti-all of the same people as TK, immediately mass deleted his posts and locked his account down — after I tagged @nflcommish on Sunday night — that must have hit too close to home because "obvious burner" @Ron11479281 reported my X account to get it suspended less than 15 minutes later after I tagged the @NFL — and I connected the dots here. BUT THIS GUY HAS INSIDE KNOWLEDGE IF I GOT FIRED FROM PARADIGM 12 DAYS AGO? An anti Zionist burner, obsessed with pro wrestling and @AEW — with close connections to Hollywood? Sorry Tony, the VPN won't save you.".”
While LoPiccolo’s post led to new discussions about online harassment and AEW’s inner culture, Ricochet’s sarcastic comment appears to be AEW’s only public-facing response—one that turns the accusation into a punchline rather than a scandal.
Whether Ricochet’s tweet is just light trolling or a strategic deflection, it’s clear AEW talent isn’t taking the burner account claims seriously—at least not publicly.
