Hulk Hogan passed away on July 24 but the entire world continues to honor the Hulkster with all kinds of tributes. That’s why fans are not surprised that NASCAR racer Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will be paying tribute to Hogan during a race this weekend.

According to TMZ Sports, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and his Hyak Motorsports team will pay tribute to the wrestling legend during the “Go Bowling at the Glen” Cup Series race at Watkins Glen International in New York. Stenhouse’s No. 47 Chevrolet will bring back its red, white, and blue “Real American Beer” paint scheme, a nod to the brand Hogan co-founded.

That’s not all as the car will also feature a special “HULKAMANIA Forever” decal with an image of Hogan ripping his shirt, one of his most iconic moments.

This tribute follows a previous partnership between Stenhouse Jr. and Real American Beer during a race in June, when Hogan was still alive. The brand and Hogan himself had always seen racing as a key part of its identity.

Chad Bronstein, who started Real American Beer with Hulk Hogan said that Hogan built both Hulkamania and the beer brand with strength, pride and resilience. He said it was all for the fans, their communities and the country. He also thanked Hyak Motorsports for helping honor Hogan and keep his love for the fans going.

“Hulk built Hulkamania and Real American Beer with strength, pride and resilience — for the fans, for their communities, for our country. Real American Beer is here to carry on Hulk’s legacy. We’re grateful to Hyak for helping us honor him and carry his commitment to his fans forward.”

This NASCAR tribute isn’t just about remembering the Hulkster, it’s about celebrating the Hulkamania movement he started and the lasting influence he had on sports, entertainment and American culture in general. So we’ll have to see how many fans will watch the race just for the tribute.
