Ricky Starks wasted no time making an impact after his AEW exit, showing up on NXT just days later. Now, he’s making it official.

The former AEW star took to Twitter ahead of WWE NXT Vengeance Day to announce that he’ll be appearing live on next week’s NXT broadcast to put pen to paper on his WWE deal.

“The hottest free agent shocked the world last week when I appeared on NXT,” Starks said. “Tonight, it’s Vengeance Day, and I’m gonna be watching on Peacock, and I know you’re probably wondering what’s next? Well, I got the answers for you.”

“This Tuesday live on NXT, in the middle of that ring, I’m going to be signing my official NXT contract, and then you’re gonna have the absolute truth from the man himself.”

Interestingly, WWE has yet to officially acknowledge Starks by name on television or social media. Reports have indicated that this was a deliberate decision, though no specific reason has been given. Whether that changes when he signs his contract live remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, Vengeance Day will feature plenty of other must-see moments, including the debut of a brand-new NXT faction that has been teased for weeks. With NXT continuing to shake things up, Starks’ arrival only adds to the unpredictable landscape of the brand.
