Ricky Saints Wants WWE RAW and SmackDown Stars to Come to Him in NXT

Ricky Saints isn’t asking to be called up to the main roster — he’s daring WWE’s top names to come down to his yard.

During his recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, the NXT Champion flipped the script on the usual “call-up” narrative and issued a bold invitation to main roster stars to test themselves against him in NXT.

When asked about his next move, Saints made it clear that he’s not waiting by the phone for a RAW or SmackDown opportunity. Instead, he wants the measuring stick brought to his doorstep.

“I honestly think the next step would be either… let’s actually mix it up. Let’s take somebody from the main roster and bring him down here and see how a NXT Champion compares up to one of those guys.”

Saints wasn’t just aiming high — he also expressed interest in mixing it up with younger, less experienced talent on the rise. He sees value in contrasting his experience with theirs and showcasing the future of NXT along the way.

“Even then, there’s so much talent. The talent pool at NXT is so deep. You have someone like Je’Von Evans. You have someone like Miles Bourne… I have no problem showing the contrast, especially when it comes to experience level.”

He framed it as an opportunity not just for a dream match, but for a larger message — that the NXT Champion can go toe-to-toe with anyone in the company.

“It gives you a glimpse into the future of what we have at NXT. On top of that too, it can show you like, oh, well, the NXT Champion can hang in there with anyone.”

Ricky Saints has no interest in waiting his turn. He’s already putting the locker room on notice — whether you’re a SmackDown star or an NXT rookie, he wants you in the ring with him.
