Richard Holliday is closing the GCW chapter of his career—and he’s not sugarcoating it.
The former MLW standout made it loud and clear during GCW’s Tournament of Survival that he’s packing up and walking away from the promotion. Holliday, who first stepped into GCW in 2023 and has been a semi-regular since, confirmed in a raw, expletive-filled promo that his final appearance is set for July 6.
“Win, lose or draw, July 6th will be my last match in GCW. That’ll be the last time you ever f**ing see me again,”* he told the crowd.
Despite getting a GCW World Title shot during his debut, Holliday never held championship gold in the company. His GCW run saw him trade in his more polished, MLW-style presentation for the chaos and grit of Game Changer Wrestling’s unpredictable environment—but it appears that part of his journey is now officially wrapping up.
Holliday’s next move hasn’t been confirmed, but his pointed farewell left fans wondering if a bigger opportunity is already in motion behind the scenes.
Richard Holliday didn’t just drop the mic—he dropped the curtain on his GCW career. Now the only question is whether this is the end of one chapter or the start of something much bigger.
