Rhea Ripley might have walked out of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event with her Women’s World Championship, but her battle with Nia Jax left her feeling it.
According to Fightful Select, Ripley “had the wind knocked out of her” during her match with Jax but was fine afterward. While fans speculated about her condition after she posted an Instagram Story showing off a bruised eye, reports confirm she escaped without any serious injuries.
Ripley has been on a tear since reclaiming the Women’s World Championship from Liv Morgan on RAW’s Netflix premiere, and Jax was her first roadblock. The two went to war, with Jax throwing everything she had at The Eradicator, but in the end, Ripley sealed the win with a devastating Riptide.
Rhea Ripley took some hits, but she’s still standing, still champion, and still ready for whatever comes next. Getting the wind knocked out of her is just another night at the office for The Eradicator, and with WrestleMania season in full swing, she’s not about to let anyone slow her down. Bumps, bruises, and all—Ripley is built different.
