Drake calling Rhea Ripley his “muse” last year definitely caught attention—but now Ripley herself is finally reacting to the rapper putting her over.
During an April 13, 2026 appearance with Complex, Ripley addressed the moment and gave her firsthand reaction to hearing Drake shout her out. And according to her, the whole situation still doesn’t feel real. She started by recalling the first time she actually met Drake backstage at WWE, describing how unexpected the moment was.
“It was wild. I remember meeting Drake for the first time—we were in Gorilla, and he just kind of snuck in. Just seeing him in person, I was like, ‘Damn, that’s Drake. That’s wild.’”
From there, Ripley reacted to Drake’s comments directly, making it clear she was caught off guard by being called his muse: “And then to hear him pretty much put me over as his muse—it’s just wild. It’s nice.”
The former Women’s World Champion also confirmed the timing of that meeting, connecting it back to his appearance at WWE Elimination Chamber in Toronto, where he was backstage interacting with talent.
“Yeah, he was at Gorilla. It was Elimination Chamber last year, I believe. Yeah. All right—he was back with Triple H, and yeah, he kind of said hi to everyone.”
Drake originally made the comment during his September 2025 appearance on Not This Again with Bobbi Althoff, revealing that Ripley kept showing up on his feed and joking that he’s probably the opposite of what she’s into.
“I don’t have data. I’m trying to pull up — I’m trying to pull up Tyga’s Instagram. My F.Y.P. page is just all Rhea Ripley. She’s a wrestler. She’s like my muse but — I’m the opposite of probably everything that she likes.”
Now, with Ripley finally responding, the crossover moment between music and WWE has come full circle—turning what started as an offhand comment into a full-on interaction between the two.
Do you think WWE should lean into this Drake–Rhea Ripley crossover, or keep it as a one-off moment? Let us know your thoughts.
