Rhea Ripley has been in the main event picture for several years at this point and she’s won titles very often. Her fans love that but other people feel she shouldn’t want to win the Women’s World Title and now Ripley has called out those fans.
While speaking during the Countdown to Night of Champions show, Rhea Ripley called out fans who think she shouldn’t be aiming for the World Championship. She made it clear that if she didn’t want to be champion, there’d be no point in her being in WWE at all.
Ripley’s goal is to be the best, to stand at the top, and she’s not interested in anything less. The Eradicator said she’s tired of hearing people say she shouldn’t go after the title, because she absolutely wants the gold and plans to prove that this is her division.
“At the end of the day — if I don’t want the championship — then what the hell am I doing in this business? If I don’t want to be the top dog, then what the hell am I doing in the WWE? If I don’t want to be the best I can be, then why don’t I just quit?
I’m sick and tired of people being like — ‘Rhea shouldn’t want the championship’ — no, Rhea Bloody Ripley wants the Bloody Championship. I want the gold — I want to be the top dog. This is my division — and I’ve got to show everyone who Rhea Bloody Ripley is once again!”
Right now Rhea Ripley is set to face off against Raquel Rodriguez in a Street Fight at Night of Champions. Therefore, we’ll have to see what’s next in store for her after Night of Champions, as it’s clear the Eradicator will stop at nothing before she ends up winning another Women’s World Title again as the last time she had a World Title match was at WrestleMania 41.
