Rhea Ripley’s fame has turned her into a global star, but it also comes with challenges, like dealing with fans who don’t respect boundaries. That’s why it’s no surprise she issued a warning, telling fans not to mob her like a pack of zombies.
The Eradicator took to Twitter and issued a warning after a troubling encounter with fans. She explained that she had been swarmed while trying to get into an Uber, pushed up against the driver’s door, and completely mobbed.
Ripley reminded people that wrestlers are human beings and stressed the need for common courtesy and respect for personal boundaries, making it clear that no should mean no.
“Remember, we are people. Do not swarm me or anyone like a pack of rabid zombies… No one should ever be pushed up against a uber drivers door and completely mobbed like I just experienced. Use common courtesy and humanity. No means no. Wtf.”
This comes after Rhea Ripley had to deal with a crazed stalker who came up to her house earlier this year and it was an absolutely unsettling experience for her.
Rhea Ripley’s message is a clear reminder that there’s a difference between being a fan and invading someone’s privacy. Excitement from fans is part of wrestling, but respect and safety should always come first. Celebrities are people too, and they should be able to live their lives without being crowded or harassed.
