Rhea Ripley didn’t hold back when talking about WWE’s Evolution event, and she made it clear she doesn’t want fans waiting years again to see another all-women show.
During her appearance on The Ebro, Laura & Rosenberg Show, Ripley spoke about how much the women’s division has grown over the years and how today’s roster continues to build momentum every time they step into the ring. She explained that the women take every opportunity seriously, no matter how short or long their matches might be, because every moment matters. While discussing that mindset, Ripley stressed how much effort the women put into making every appearance count, regardless of how much time they’re given on screen.
“But I know all us women have really put in the time and the effort into everything that we get, whether it's 30 seconds or 20 minutes. Like it doesn't matter how long we get, we're going to make sure that we're talked about by the end of it.”
Ripley then turned her focus directly to the Evolution premium live event and the long delay between the original show and its return. She made it clear that waiting nearly a decade between events didn’t make sense, especially after the roster proved what they could deliver.
“I know we had to wait — what was it — eight years for the Evolution too, which was a wild thing.”
She said that once the second Evolution show finally happened, the women’s division made the most of the opportunity and showed exactly what they were capable of doing when given the spotlight.
“But I feel like after Evolution 2, which is an all-women's pay-per-view, I feel like we went out there and we showed everyone exactly what we can do.”
Ripley didn’t stop there. She made it clear that she hopes WWE moves much faster when it comes to scheduling the next Evolution event, signaling that the long wait shouldn’t happen again.
“And I'm hoping that it takes less time now for Evolution 3.”
She wrapped up her thoughts by making her strongest statement yet, pushing the idea that Evolution should become a regular event rather than a rare special attraction.
“I really hope that everyone watched that and went, ‘Wow, like this needs to be a yearly thing.’”
Ripley’s comments add more pressure to the ongoing conversation about how WWE handles major events for the women’s division. With female stars consistently delivering big performances on premium live events, her remarks reinforce the idea that Evolution could easily become a staple on WWE’s yearly calendar instead of something fans have to wait years to see again.
If WWE does decide to bring Evolution back more frequently, it could mark another step forward for the division and give rising talent more chances to shine on one of the company’s biggest stages.
