Rey Mysterio is a WWE Hall of Famer, and he had to miss WrestleMania last year due to injury. This time it won’t go down like that.
The April 6 edition of WWE RAW went down at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Fans in the Longhorn State came out for the red brand, but they didn’t expect Rey Mysterio.
Los Americanos took on Je’Von Evans, Penta, and Dragon Lee in six-man action this week on RAW. After Je’Von Evans picked up the pinfall victory this week on RAW, Rey Mysterio came out to surprise fans. He congratulated Penta on his title reign, but then he revealed that the ladder match for the IC Title is missing one person.
Rey Mysterio revealed that he spoke to Adam Pearce, and they both agreed that their ladder match is missing the WWE Hall of Famer. Now Rey Mysterio will join the six-man ladder match at WrestleMania.
Rey Mysterio was sidelined with fractured ribs on both sides, which occurred during a match against Austin Theory on the January 26, 2026 WWE RAW. Now he is back just in time for WrestleMania.
Now the WrestleMania ladder match for the IC Title will be JD McDonagh, Dragon Lee, Je’Von Evans, Rey Mysterio, Rusev, and Penta. That should be quite a match on the showcase of the immortals.
