WWE WrestleMania 39 was full of surprising moments and Rey Mysterio made a special entrance riding a low-rider alongside Snoop Dogg, with Eddie Guerrero’s entrance music briefly playing. Mysterio has now revealed how the special entrance came together.

While speaking to Adrian Hernandez, Rey Mysterio was asked about his entrance with Snoop Dogg at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium. The interviewer mentioned how memorable it was when they drove by in the low rider while the phrase “The game is to be told, not to be sold” played and wanted to know how that moment came together.

Rey explained that the entrance was a complete surprise to him until rehearsal. When he found out he would be walking out with Snoop Dogg, he was shocked and excited. It felt surreal to be part of such a special moment.

At the time, he was already feeling a lot of emotions because he was about to wrestle his son. His nerves were at an all-time high—not just for himself, but also for Dominik and the family members in attendance. He wanted everything to go perfectly.

Despite the pressure, Snoop Dogg helped him feel at ease. Riding in the low rider together and hearing the mix of songs during the entrance made the experience unforgettable and legendary for him.

“Oh, you’re talking about the Snoop Dogg entrance? Oh my God, that was pure magic for me. I had no idea what was happening until rehearsal. When I saw the setup and they told me who I was walking out with, I was like, ‘Really? I’m part of this? I’m walking out with Snoop?’ It was crazy, man.

At that moment, my mind was already in another place. I was about to wrestle my son, and my nerves were at 100%. You have no idea how nervous I was—for myself, for my son, and for all the family I had there. I just wanted everything to go the way I envisioned it.

But Snoop gave me a sense of calmness, man. Just stepping into that low rider with him, making that short entrance, and hearing those three mixed songs together—it was legendary for me.”

Rey Mysterio wasn’t the only one who had a special entrance as his son Dominik Mysterio had an iconic entrance before their match at WrestleMania 39. With WrestleMania 41 approaching, fans are wondering if Rey will have another iconic entrance before he eventually retires from in-ring competition.
