As seen on Monday’s episode of RAW, WWE did a segment that saw Finn Balor being confronted by Brock Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman. This segment was discussed by Dave Meltzer on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio.
Meltzer indicated that they did this segment as a way to put over Balor heading into the Extreme Rules match that will see five competitors fighting for a shot at Universal Championship at the Great Balls of Fire event. Meltzer said that the company wants you to believe that Balor could win the match, but they may also be swerving us and someone else could win.
With Lesnar working more dates this year than previous years, Meltzer said Balor vs. Lesnar will definitely take place before WrestleMania 34.
