Bully Ray made a huge statement at TNA Slammiversary 2025 when he stepped out and challenged the Hardys to one final showdown for the Tag Team Titles at Bound for Glory. But fans were quick to notice—D-Von Dudley wasn’t with him. Now, Bully is clearing up exactly why his longtime tag partner was MIA.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray addressed D-Von’s absence, revealing it wasn’t due to backstage drama or creative differences—but something far more personal.
“D-Von will be at Bound for Glory, trust me. I wish my brother was by my side last night, but he had a very important family matter that he just couldn’t get out of. We talked, and we both felt that last night was just too important to miss—like catching lightning in a bottle. We wanted to make a big surprise happen, and D-Von will definitely be there at Bound for Glory in Boston.”
Despite going it alone at Slammiversary, Bully said the moment was too good to pass up, and they agreed it was the perfect time to set the stage for a final clash with the Hardys.
The match is now locked in—Team 3D vs. The Hardys, one last time, at Bound for Glory on October 12. Two of the greatest tag teams of all time are about to close the chapter on their legendary rivalry, and this one’s got history written all over it.
