Becky Lynch won’t be making the long trip to Perth, Australia, for WWE Crown Jewel — but it turns out there’s a simple reason behind her absence.

During the October 6 episode of WWE RAW, Lynch told fans she needed time to “re-evaluate,” leading many to wonder if there was more to the story. However, according to Sean Ross Sapp on The Hump, Becky is just taking some well-deserved time off because she isn’t booked for the premium live event.

“It’s just her taking that show off — those shows off — because she’s not booked for the PLE. They can make it work. There’s no reason to fly people over there just to have them there.”

Sapp explained that WWE isn’t flying out unused talent for this show, especially considering how long and exhausting the trip to Australia can be.

“That’s like a 22-hour flight, man. That’s a tough trip. I really want to go to Australia, but I don’t want to take that flight. You feel like you live there by the time you land. And then you have to do it all over again coming back. That’s like 40 to 45 hours total on a plane when you count airport time. She’ll be back in two weeks, and that’ll be that.”

Becky recently lost to Maxxine Dupri via countout on RAW, in what was Dupri’s biggest victory to date. After the match, Lynch appeared frustrated and told Seth Rollins she wouldn’t be going to Crown Jewel — a moment that many fans believed was part of a larger storyline.

Now it’s clear the absence is more practical than dramatic. WWE simply didn’t need Becky for the show, and she’ll return to action soon after taking some time off.

The decision makes sense given how demanding the travel schedule can be — but it also leaves fans curious about what comes next for “Big Time Becks” once she’s back on TV.

Do you think WWE made the right call giving Becky Lynch time off instead of sending her to Crown Jewel? Or would you have liked to see her appear in Perth anyway? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
