WWE made a last-minute change to the WrestlePalooza lineup by pulling the scheduled WWE Women’s Championship match featuring Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax, and Jade Cargill. While it appeared the match was being saved for a bigger spotlight or delayed due to injury concerns, that’s not the real reason at all.

According to PWInsider, Stratton is not injured. The change wasn’t about health or storyline—it was strictly about pacing. WWE made the call to shift the match for logistical reasons, with sources backstage stating the decision was designed to keep the WrestlePalooza card from becoming overloaded with too many major bouts on one show.

The company had already hinted at the match when it appeared on an official event shirt in Indianapolis. Stratton’s removal from NXT Homecoming only added to confusion, but internally the decision had already been made to hold the bout for a different night.

Tiffany Stratton will now defend her WWE Women’s Championship against Nia Jax and Jade Cargill on the September 26 episode of Friday Night SmackDown from Orlando.
