Team 3D and The Hardys are set to collide one last time at TNA’s Bound for Glory—but fans have been wondering why this dream final chapter isn’t taking place in WWE. Now, Bully Ray has given a blunt answer: it’s not going to happen in WWE, and TNA is the place it belongs.

On Busted Open Radio, Bully explained why the last-time-ever showdown between the legendary tag teams is going down in TNA and not under the bright lights of WWE.

“It’s actually kind of perfect that our last match—me and D-Von’s last match—happens in a TNA ring. And when I say ‘last match,’ I don’t know if it’s the final final one, but I mean Dudleys vs. Hardys. That match will never happen in a WWE ring, that’s for sure.”

Bully pointed out the shared history both teams have with the company, adding that TNA is where this final battle makes the most sense.

“The Hardys and the Dudleys did face off in TNA a couple of times, and me and D-Von spent a big part of our careers there. So why not? If you’re not gonna get it in WWE, I’d love to give it to the fans in TNA—and that’s exactly what they’re gonna get at Bound for Glory.”

With WWE clearly off the table, Bully Ray made it clear that this isn’t about contracts or TV deals—it’s about giving fans the sendoff they deserve, in the ring that helped define a huge part of their legacy.

Team 3D vs. The Hardys goes down October 12 at Bound for Glory—a match decades in the making, and now confirmed as the final chapter between two iconic teams.
