RAW Superstars In Town for September 19 WWE SmackDown

The September 19 episode of WWE SmackDown is already stacked, but things just got even hotter in Toledo.

According to PWInsider AJ Styles, Penta, Finn Balor, and Ludwig Kaiser are all in the building for tonight’s show. They are most likely working dark matches before and/or after the event.

With WrestlePalooza just one day away, SmackDown is set to feature a loaded lineup — including the Undisputed WWE Championship contract signing between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre, which is set to close the show. Now, with multiple unannounced top-tier names backstage, it’s anyone’s guess who might show up before the night is over. Also confirmed for tonight’s broadcast:

• Brock Lesnar will sit down for a live interview just 24 hours before facing John Cena
• Sami Zayn will defend the United States Championship against Carmelo Hayes
• Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair will defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Chelsea Green & Alba Fyre

With Lesnar and Cena about to throw down, Rhodes and McIntyre staring each other down, and now Styles, Balor, Penta, and Kaiser all lurking backstage — this episode is shaping up to be more than just a warm-up.
