Raquel Rodriguez Wants Another Tag Title Run with Liv Morgan

Raquel Rodriguez isn’t sugarcoating her struggles since returning to WWE. With just one win out of seven matches, she’s well aware things haven’t gone her way. But 2025 is a new year, and Rodriguez is ready to chase championship gold—whether that means another run with Liv Morgan or making a name for herself as a singles star.

Rodriguez opened up about her goals while speaking to the Battleground Podcast, making it clear that she’s coming for the top prizes in WWE. “I definitely want to win the Women’s Tag Team Championship titles again with my girl Liv, so that we can be three-time women’s tag team champs. That’s a goal for sure that hopefully is something we’re gonna start pursuing soon,” she said.

However, if that doesn’t happen, Rodriguez has no problem going solo. “I think to win a championship on my own too is definitely a goal that I have for 2025.”

With WWE’s expanded title picture, Rodriguez knows she has options. “Whether that be Intercontinental Championship, a US Championship, the Women’s World Championship, the WWE Women’s Championship, we have so many options now with all these titles going around.” And while she has big ambitions, she’s embracing the unpredictability of the business. “I’m really trying not to figure out what those surprises are—I want to be surprised. But we can all be surprised together,” she added.

Rodriguez isn’t just fighting for herself—she wants to be a force for representation, too. “I think that’s what’s looking into my future… developing into a bigger and badder Raquel that’s just representing all of the Latinos in Texas and the Latinas that are looking to have someone of their color representing them and their state.”

Rodriguez is making it crystal clear—2025 is her year, and she’s not settling for anything less than championship gold. Whether she’s running it back with Liv Morgan or stepping into the spotlight solo, she’s got her sights set on domination.
