Randy Orton Turns Heel On Cody Rhodes During 3/13 WWE SmackDown

The March 13 episode of WWE SmackDown was a special one. The Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona was packed for fans, as the Road to WrestleMania is speeding up in a big way.

Cody Rhodes won the WWE Undisputed Championship last week from Drew McIntyre. That changed up the main event of WrestleMania in a big way, as Randy Orton will now face the American Nightmare in the main event of the show of shows.

When the main event segment finally came about, Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes both received a great ovation from fans. Jelly Roll was also sitting at ringside to cheer both of his friends on.

Fans took their time chanting for their favorite Superstar before the two finally sat down at the table in the center of the ring. Cody Rhodes knew exactly what Phoenix wanted to talk about. Rhodes walked fans through his history with Orton, and how he was always there for him. Then Cody signed his side of the contract.

Randy Orton had issues with this match, because it was supposed to be Drew McIntyre in the WrestleMania main event, but then Randy Orton shook Cody’s hand before he threw him against the table. Then Orton ripped off Cody’s shirt and threw him out of the ring, This was a total heel turn for The Viper.

Randy Orton picked up the ring steps and knocked Cody Rhodes wide open. Cody was bleeding a lot as Randy Orton kept beating him down. There was blood everywhere as Randy Orton made it very clear that he is going into WrestleMania as a heel.
