Randy Orton Reveals How Sexyy Red Got Him In Trouble With His Wife

Randy Orton once found himself in a bit of trouble with his wife for playing Sexyy Red’s songs during his gym sessions.

Speaking with Billboard, The Viper opened up about his music taste, which led to a conversation about rapper Sexyy Red. Orton revealed that she ranks in his top five favorite female rappers of all time. However, he admitted that playing her songs out loud during gym sessions tends to annoy his wife—often landing him in a bit of trouble.

Ah, man. You know what? I get in trouble with my wife if I play her songs in the gym. I got to meet Sexyy at an NXT show in October and my wife and kids were there. She was great, and of course she’s from St. Louis. I don’t know who I’d take off, but maybe we’ll do a top five an throw Sexyy in there, too. 

As a result, he now listens to her music with headphones. The Apex Predator also shared that he met Sexyy Red during an NXT show in October. He expressed his admiration for her music, particularly because she hails from St. Louis, just like him.

Moreover, in the same interview, Orton also revealed his Mount Rushmore of female rappers. Without a doubt, The Legend Killer named Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion, and GloRilla as his favorite female rappers of all time, calling them a “strong team” whose music he’s been enjoying lately, especially during workouts.

However, when it comes to Sexyy Red, he prefers to take a backseat and listen to her music with headphones, as playing it out loud tends to get him into trouble with his wife.
