WWE’s Apex Predator, Randy Orton, has evolved from his early days as a brash newcomer to become one of WWE’s respected locker room leaders with over two decades of experience in the squared circle.
Even in his early days, he displayed himself as a blue chip prospect and made history by becoming the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in WWE, a record The Viper believes will stand for the ages.
Speaking of World Champions, in a recent interview with Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, Randy Orton was asked if any current WWE stars have the potential to achieve the same level of success. Surprisingly, Orton named Austin Theory to become a main event player and a future World Champion in the business.
“I don’t have a crystal ball or anything, but Austin Theory is young and has a great look,” Orton commented. “I know where his head’s at. I’ve had plenty of talks with him, and unlike the distractions I faced as a kid, he doesn’t have those. He’s more motivated and focused; he sees the goal, knows what he wants, and I think he’ll definitely be a world champion one day.”
Austin Theory has already accomplished significant milestones in his relatively short WWE career. He is a two-time United States Champion, a Money in the Bank winner, and currently holds the WWE Tag Team Championship alongside Grayson Waller.
Moreover, he was also prominently featured at WrestleMania 38 in a memorable segment with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and managed to defeat the GOAT, John Cena, the following year at The Show of Shows, pointing to the fact that Randy Orton’s prediction might come true in the future.
