Randy Orton just dropped another clue about the mystery person he’s been talking to, and it looks like fans may finally get answers soon.
For weeks, Orton has been shown on the phone with someone behind the scenes. This started after he won the Elimination Chamber and locked in a shot at Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Title at WrestleMania 42. Since then, Orton has been acting more aggressive, going after Rhodes, attacking Matt Cardona, and even hitting Jelly Roll with an RKO.
In a new video posted on social media Wednesday night, Orton was once again seen talking on the phone. This time, he confirmed that he plans to meet the mystery person in St. Louis during Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
“Likewise, man. I appreciate everything you've been doing for me. Yeah, I think that. I think we're good to go. This Friday, right? I'll see you in St. Louis.”
That short message has fans guessing about who Orton has been working with and what it could mean as WrestleMania 42 gets closer.
Orton is set to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title at WrestleMania 42, so whoever this mystery person is could play a major role in how things unfold heading into that match.
