Rampage Jackson has been accused of a lot of things after his son Raja attacked Syko Stu, including accusations that Rampage paid people off. Unsurprisingly, Jackson has now addressed those accusations.
While speaking on the Ariel Helwani Show, Rampage Jackson was asked if he had offered anyone money to keep quiet, change their stories, or avoid pressing charges. He denied it, saying he never paid anyone off and that the only money he spent was on a lawyer retainer. He added that the police haven’t spoken to him yet, which he found frustrating.
Jackson questioned why it took so long for Syko Stu’s friends or team to step in and pull Raja off, since they were the ones saying to keep punching until he was stopped. He believed that the delay was the real reason nobody had spoken to the police, not because he had paid anyone off.
Rampage stated that paying people off would be illegal, that he doesn’t even know those people, and that if he tried something like that, he would go to jail. He made it clear he’s not stupid and said the police should be investigating why it took Stu’s friends so long to get into the ring.
“F*** no. F*** no. I didn’t offer anyone any money. Any money I spent was to put a retainer on an attorney. The police haven’t talked to me, I don’t know s***. That’s the f***** up thing. What took them so long? They said, ‘Punch him until we pull you off.’ What took his friends or team so long to get in there and get Raja off of him? That’s probably why nobody’s talked to the police. Not because I f***** paid anybody off. I would never do that, you can’t even do that in America, that s*** is illegal as f***. I don’t know those dudes. They could put me in there and I’d go to jail for that s***. I ain’t f***** stupid. The police should investigate that s***. Why did it take his friends so long to get in the f****** ring?”
That’s not all as Rampage Jackson has also shut down claims that Raja Jackson’s attack on Syko Stu was attempted murder. Regardless, Raja Jackson is still waiting for an arrest warrant, so we’ll have to see when he will be taken into custody, as many feel it’s inevitable now.
