R-Truth is finally set to address his shocking involvement at WWE Backlash during a sit-down interview with Wade Barrett on tonight’s episode of SmackDown, WWE has confirmed.
The interview will cover Truth’s actions during the main event at Backlash, where he prevented Randy Orton from delivering a punt kick to John Cena, allowing Cena to capitalize and retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Orton didn’t take kindly to Truth’s interference and laid him out with a brutal RKO, setting the stage for Cena to hit Orton with a low blow and a belt shot to secure the win. The post-show chaos continued as Cena put Truth through a table during the press conference, leaving fans with more questions than answers about Truth’s true intentions.
The sit-down with Barrett will mark Truth’s first public comments since the incident, and it could shed light on why he got involved and what he plans to do next.
