R-Truth might be one of WWE’s most entertaining stars, but he’s also got his sights set on stealing the show musically — with none other than Metro Boomin by his side.
During his appearance on The Nikki and Brie Show, the WWE veteran opened up about his growing music career and dropped a major bombshell that fans weren’t expecting. Truth revealed he’s already locked in a collab with the mega-producer behind hits for Future, Drake, 21 Savage, and more.
“I know y’all know who Metro Boomin is, right? Future’s producer… He and I got a song. We done done it already.”
Truth admitted he originally planned to break the news during his appearance on The Breakfast Club, but forgot to bring it up. He’s now setting his sights on something even bigger: performing that track live at WrestleMania .
“That would be one dope [track] to put out to do WrestleMania… Performing at WrestleMania would be like I hit the jackpot.”
For Truth, this moment would be more than just a performance. It would be a full-circle dream come true:
“You're looking at somebody who came from a pipe dream... I had no direction in life... and I fell in love with [wrestling]. They accepted me.”
He described the journey from the independent scene — where he’d perform his own music and sing country songs between matches — to now potentially taking the WrestleMania stage with one of the top producers in the industry.
“I've done so much good music... To perform at WrestleMania would be like the chef’s kiss on that.”
The idea of R-Truth performing live in Vegas while dropping his Metro Boomin collab could turn into one of the most talked-about moments of WrestleMania weekend. And judging by the reaction from Nikki and Brie Bella, fans are ready for it.
If WWE’s listening, it’s time to cue the music and let Truth perform.
