R-Truth just reminded everyone what it took for him to get back in the ring—and it wasn’t pretty.
After missing almost a full year from WWE due to multiple shoulder surgeries, R-Truth returned to in-ring action this past week on SmackDown. His return match didn’t go his way, as he was choked out by Samoa Joe.
Shortly after the match, Truth took to Instagram and posted several graphic photos from his shoulder surgery. The images offered a raw look at the physical toll he endured just to make it back to WWE.
The warning was clear: the photos weren’t for the faint of heart. Still, fans flooded his comments with messages of respect, praising him for his transparency and toughness.
R-Truth’s return may not have ended with a victory, but his Instagram post makes it clear—it was a personal win just to get back in the ring.
