John Cena’s heel turn at Elimination Chamber 2025 left the wrestling world in complete disbelief, and now even R-Truth is struggling to process what just happened.
Cena’s longtime friend and occasional tag partner took to social media to share his thoughts, replying to Brandi Rhodes’ post about the turn with a cryptic message: “We can’t jump to conclusions.” But that wasn’t all—Truth later made another post that had fans talking, writing: “Think I might crash out.”
Truth and Cena go way back, with their history dating back over a decade to their rivalry in the early 2010s. In recent years, Truth has made no secret of his admiration for Cena, even adopting some of his signature moves. That makes Cena’s shocking betrayal of Cody Rhodes even harder to swallow, and Truth clearly isn’t ready to accept it.
Meanwhile, Cena isn’t sticking around to answer for his actions—The Rock revealed in the Elimination Chamber post-show that Cena flew in from Budapest that morning just for the event and was already heading to Africa for another movie shoot. With his Hollywood schedule keeping him busy, it remains to be seen when The Champ will return to WWE TV before his WrestleMania 41 showdown with Cody Rhodes.
But as for R-Truth? He may need some time to recover from seeing his childhood hero embrace the dark side.
