R-Truth may be done with WWE—for now—but independent promotions are already showing serious interest in bringing him in.

According to Fightful Select, multiple top indie companies have expressed interest in booking Ron Killings following WWE’s decision not to renew his contract. While it’s still unclear when his deal officially ends, the wrestling world is already keeping close tabs on his availability.

One unique twist to this story? Truth may own the rights to his entrance theme. The song, which he self-produced and previously used during his TNA run, could follow him into his post-WWE career—something most former Superstars can’t say.

Outside of WWE, he competed as Ron “The Truth” Killings and held championships in both TNA and NWA, making him a proven draw beyond the WWE machine.

Backstage reaction to his release has been overwhelmingly negative. One top talent reportedly called it: “Total nonsense” and “Everyone seemed confused by the news—including Truth himself.”

With fan support, strong merch numbers, and universal respect from his peers, it’s no surprise that indie promotions are already circling.
