R-Truth has just made it clear that his feud with John Cena is far from over, following their last couple of matches.
While speaking to the Toronto Sun, R-Truth was asked what it was like to have that last big match with John Cena. He responded by saying his feud with John Cena wasn’t over yet.
In his view, Cena needs to return to the person he used to be because he has hurt a lot of people emotionally. R-Truth pointed out that Cena betrayed a lot of people including him, the fans, and everyone who believed in him.
Truth explained that Cena is no longer giving fans the classic “You can’t see me” version of himself. It feels like Cena has moved on, and he is not the same person everyone fell in love with.
“Oh, it ain’t over. He got to turn back who he was. He hurt people’s hearts. That’s right. You just asked me the good stuff about him. He betrayed people, dog. He betrayed you, me, us, them, everybody, man.
He, bro, he’s not giving us the ‘You can’t see me’ no more. Now it’s all ‘go on,’ bro. He’s not giving us—he’s not the John Cena that we fell in love with, you know what I’m saying?”
Truth said John Cena has taken him and all the fans on an emotional roller coaster. He added that he needs John Cena back, not just for himself but for his own peace of mind. In his eyes, things with Cena are not finished yet.
“So he’s taking me on that roller coaster just like he’s taking everybody else. I need John back. Not for me, but for my sanity. For the sanity of R-Truth. So it ain’t over yet with him.”
R-Truth has faced off against John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event back in May as well as a match on SmackDown last month. Therefore, we’ll have to see if they have another match eventually, as Truth has made it clear he’s not done with Cena at all.
