Queen Aminata is proving just how far she’s willing to go for AEW—even when it means putting her body on the line. The rising star revealed she hurt her knee during the AEW Collision tapings in Jacksonville last week, but still powered through to get her work done.

On her vlog, Aminata explained that the injury happened while she was running drills in the ring. Despite being banged up, she went ahead with a scheduled pre-tape segment anyway.

“So, I have to rush, but I can’t really run today because when I came in, I was rolling around the ring, and I hurt my knee a little. So now I’m going to the locker room to change and do this pre-tape.”

After the show, things got worse. Aminata admitted her knee had swollen up and the pain was becoming hard to manage. But instead of resting, she pushed forward with travel commitments—showing just how dedicated she is to her craft.

“Good morning, guys. It is 3:22 a.m. and I’m heading to the airport. I’m so tired. My knee is so freaking sore. But let’s go. Traveling. Traveling is the hardest part. But here we go. Work never ends. I got home super tired and my knee was super sore and swollen.”

Aminata’s story is another reminder of how demanding professional wrestling can be. Between grueling schedules, injuries, and long travel days, stars like her often have no choice but to fight through pain just to keep up. Fans will now be hoping she gets time to recover before her knee injury becomes something more serious.
