Since their shocking debut on the June 17 episode of Monday Night Raw, The Wyatt Sicks have made a major impact with their dark and unsettling presence. A lot of care went into planning their debut and now the entire creative process behind their debut has been revealed.
While speaking on Dead Meat Presents, Rob Fee shared how The Wyatt Sicks’ debut was planned and the process behind it. They wanted to make a big impact, so they used the QR code to build excitement for the return. The idea was that something huge was coming, and they knew they had to deliver. Triple H played a big role in creating the concept, and Fee called him smart and creative.
Fee remembered how Triple H called him one Saturday afternoon with an idea. He explained every part of it, and Fee immediately thought it was great. After talking with Bo Dallas, they both agreed that it would work perfectly.
“We wanted to do something big to bring them back, and with the QR code, we really built it up. It was like, ‘There’s going to be a massacre, there’s going to be all this.’ So, you know, we knew we had to deliver. Triple H is the coolest—he’s the best guy, the best boss, the smartest. You’ll be in a room trying to figure something out, and he’ll go, ‘I don’t know, what about this?’ And it’s the best idea you’ve ever heard.
He called one day—this was like midday on a Saturday—and he was like, ‘I had this idea. I don’t know, just wanted to run it by you,’ like it wasn’t the best idea ever. He walked through every beat of it, and I talked to Taylor, and I was like, ‘What do you think about this?’ And we were like, ‘Yeah, incredible.’“
Rob Fee added that the crew worked really hard to make everything come together. They chose the music carefully and tried different tracks before landing on a simple one-note loop. The sound team added extra effects, adjusting them live to match the moment.
The camera crew practiced for about an hour, with everyone knowing their cues. The timing had to be perfect since the segment had to end right on time for the next show. With special effects like pyro in the background, the whole team’s hard work paid off, making The Wyatt Sicks’ debut a huge success.
“Day of, our crew is so unbelievably good. People don’t realize how good everyone on the team is at creating this. There’s so many people involved. Even the music going on during it—we were trying to figure out how to time it. We went through a bunch of different songs, and then we landed on just doing the one note over and over. But if you listen closely, there are all these other sound effects going on. The sound guy live was doing those effects, hitting cues that felt right and mixing it like a live mix as we were going. I think the camera crew ran through it, what, Taylor, maybe an hour? Something like that.
That’s it. Everyone kept adding more things on, and then it turned into, like, in Gorilla—the pyro, the ceiling, and all that. Just unbelievable work by that team. It was a lot of months of planning leading up to it, and then maybe an hour of rehearsals. These guys crushed it.
Of course, Taylor had so many cues they had to hit. And the thing with our show is you have to end at the exact moment where they cut to ‘Silk Stalkings’ or whatever’s on next. They had to time it perfectly to where, right when he goes, ‘We’re here,’ blows it out, and end of show. Incredible job by the entire team on that.”
As for the Wyatt Sicks’ plans in WWE, they will begin a feud with The Judgment Day once their current program with The Final Testament ends. No matter what, The Wyatt Sicks’ debut will remain one of the most impactful in WWE history and that’s never changing.
