Pretty Boy Smooth is officially going national.

The National Wrestling Alliance announced on January 17 that they’ve signed “The Urban Playboy” to a long-term contract, locking in the 6’9″, 260-lb powerhouse as a full-time presence on NWA POWERRR on Roku. The signing was made public during a live event in Cleveland, Ohio, with NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion “Thrillbilly” Silas Mason personally presenting Smooth’s contract in front of the hometown Exodus Pro crowd.

Pretty Boy Smooth isn’t a newcomer to the NWA scene. He first gained attention as the inaugural NWA Exodus Pro Midwest Heavyweight Champion, and more recently aligned himself with the Exodus-connected faction The Holy Grail. He was featured on the January 13 episode of POWERRR, where the group challenged for the NWA U.S. Tag Team Titles.

With this signing, Smooth becomes a central figure in the NWA’s future. A nine-year veteran of the sport, Pretty Boy Smooth boasts both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Communication and Organizational Leadership and comes from a Division 1 basketball background. He was trained by notable names including Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, EC3, and Pepper Parks—a pedigree that speaks for itself.

The NWA confirmed that Pretty Boy Smooth’s next appearance will take place on February 21, when POWERRR on Roku returns for a double-taping event in Tampa, Florida at the WEDU PBS Studios. Tickets are on sale now at NWALiveEvents.com.

Smooth’s contract ensures he’ll remain a weekly fixture on NWA POWERRR, which airs Tuesdays at 8PM ET on Roku Sports.
