There is a lot going on in the pro wrestling world, and the people involved with running WWE have a lot of pull outside the business. Triple H may call the shots in WWE, but he is also involved with some very big things on a national level.
Triple H was on hand in Washington, DC as they discuss the re-launch of the Presidential Fitness Test. In case you didn’t know, The Presidential Fitness Test, which was created in 1966 and discontinued in 2012, has been reinstated in public schools by President Donald Trump.
While speaking at the White House, Triple H was able to address those who gathered to discuss the USA’s plan for youth fitness. This subject means a lot to the two-time WWE Hall of Famer. He was also very honored to receive the invite.
“First of all, I’d like to say thank you, President Trump, I’m truly honored to be on this. I appreciate what everyone is doing for the health and wellness of the entire country. For me, since I was 14, this has been such a big part of my life, health, fitness, sports, nutrition, all of it. I think learning that at a young age sets you up for success in life, and without it you’re at a lesser place. I look forward to the opportunity to do this, I look forward to the opportunity to help make our youth healthy. Help get them engaged in sports, and help them learn what it takes to be successful in life. So, thank you very much for the honor, thank you.”
Triple H has been a fan of Donal Trump’s presidency since the celebrity wing WWE Hall of Famer’s first run in the White House. He has also been able to attend a few gatherings at the Nation’s Capital, and only time will tell what the future holds in the years to come.
We will keep a close eye on Triple H as he continues to take on even more responsibilities. Health and fitness is certainly something he is an authority on, so it only makes sense that Trump’s White House give The Game a call when they need pointers in that department.
