Predicting the Next Four WWE Champions

The WWE Championship has had a crazy last few years. People we didn’t think would ever become champion managed to snag the gold. Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt, and AJ Styles all became champions, and the list goes on. Now Jinder Mahal will defend the WWE title against Shinsuke Nakamura at Summerslam. Just 4 months ago, we’d have never thought of this match. Now it’s almost here.

I guess it does go to show that (almost) anything can happen in the WWE. With that in mind, I’m going to make some predictions. Who will be the next three men to hold become champion?

4. Shinsuke Nakamura

I honestly believe that Shinsuke Nakamura is the next WWE Champion. He just beat John Cena clean. He’s dispatched the likes of Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin with ease. He was so well-protected in the Money in the Bank ladder match. People backstage are clearly high on him, which is why I think he becomes a champion sooner rather than later.

Am I absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, certain that he will win at Summerslam? Admittedly, no. It’s more than likely the Singh Brothers get involved. The Singh Brothers will also get their heads kicked off. Jinder Mahal will probably cheat to retain the gold for another month. However, I don’t see his reign lasting much longer after that.

If Mahal manages to weasel his way out of Summerslam as the champion, then good for him. Come either Clash of Champions or Hell in a Cell, though, Shinsuke will beat the hell out of him.

Nakamura will probably hold onto the title for a while, maybe even until Wrestlemania. It will be at the Show of Shows where he will meet his greatest challenger.
