Leon Slater might have just headlined against Oba Femi at NXT’s New Year’s Evil, but his next big WWE moment could be just around the corner — and on home turf.

According to PWInsider, WWE has shown interest in using the current TNA X-Division Champion on the UK leg of its ongoing European tour. While nothing has been finalized, the report states there’s been a pitch for Slater to appear alongside Je’Von Evans during the international dates.

Slater has been riding a wave of momentum following his match with Oba Femi, which many believe was the powerhouse’s final bout in NXT. After the match, Femi left the NXT Championship in the ring and exited without a word — a dramatic move that fueled speculation of an imminent main roster debut. Reflecting on that moment during the debut episode of Unseen with Joey Karni, Slater said:

“To be on one of those key points for such a talent like Oba Femi is super cool for sure.”

If plans move forward, this wouldn’t just mark a homecoming for Slater — it could also deepen the growing crossover between TNA and WWE, especially with stars like him gaining spotlight moments in both promotions.

Should WWE move forward with using Slater on tour, how do you see him fitting into the current landscape? Would you want to see more crossover appearances from TNA talent? Let us know in the comments.
