As everyone is well aware, WWE will hold a “Superstar Shakeup” on next week’s episodes of RAW and SmackDown on Monday and Tuesday night. Dave Meltzer discussed the trades that are expected to take place on the latest installment of Wrestling Observer. Here are a couple of spoiler notes heading into the shows:
- AJ Styles is expected to be drafted to RAW.
- Meltzer said he has heard that Roman Reigns is expected to be drafted to SmackDown, but he has also heard that he is expected to stay on RAW. (Basically, it’s unknown)
- The New Day is expected to move to SmackDown Live.
- There is talk of having Charlotte move to SmackDown Live.
- Alexa Bliss is expected to move to RAW.
- Sasha Banks is being rumored to move to SmackDown Live. If this happens, plans for Bayley vs. Sasha Banks will be nixed.
- Meltzer heard that two top females from each brand are expected to switch. So, Charlotte & Sasha Banks from RAW and Alexa Bliss and someone else from SmackDown. Possibly Becky Lynch.
- Coming out of the “Superstar Shakeup,” Nakamara and Randy Orton would be the two top baby faces for the SmackDown brand, while Roman (if he stays on RAW) and AJ Styles will be the top stars of the RAW brand.
- Several storylines are expected to be changed or nixed as a result of the “Superstar Shakeup” next week.
